Clauss Construction has been performing demolition and decontamination projects for more than 16 years. Most importantly, our ability to offer multiple decommissioning services within a single organization positions our team to provide decontamination and demolition services to the customer in a safe, timely, coordinated and cost effective manner. Our clients realize significant benefits by virtue of the fact that one contractor is held accountable for both decontamination and demolition efforts whereby project schedules are compressed, waste volumes are reduced, and cross and/or recontamination of clean areas are eliminated.

We have safely managed explosive demolition operations in many high profile cases including:

• Implosions of landmark Las Vegas hotels including the Desert Inn and Frontier Hotel Casino.
• Explosive fracturing of large concrete structures including shield walls and parking structures.
• Explosives Fracturing and/or Explosives Demolition of radioactively contaminated concrete shielding greater than 10 feet thick.
• Explosives demolition projects for Private Industry, The General Services Administration (GSA), and The Department of Energy (DOE).

In addition, Clauss Construction currently holds a 3 year master agreement for explosive demolition services at the DOE facility at Hanford Washington.
